Terms & Conditions

We are Your Travel Society and are excited to help you with your travel plans. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Your Travel Society, and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.

Your Travel Society LLC acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (collectively, "Suppliers"). Your Travel Society is not responsible for the acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.

Your Travel Society LLC assumes no responsibility and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity caused by (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of Suppliers; (2) any defect or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise provided by the Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions of any other party not under Your Travel Society LLC’s control. You hereby release Your Travel Society LLC from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.

Your Travel Society LLC has no special knowledge regarding the financial conditions of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health or weather hazards, or climate extremes at destinations you may visit. For information about possible dangers at destinations, Your Travel Society LLC recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Your Travel Society LLC recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel.

You assume full responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), as well as all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release Your Travel Society LLC from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. You agree that the courts in Michigan will have exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or Your Travel Society LLC, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation (travel) insurance. We also strongly recommend using a credit card for your purchase so you can exercise your rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act if you do not receive the services you purchased.

If you are cruising, we strongly recommend flying to your port a day or two before your cruise is scheduled to depart. Due to flight delays and cancellations, arriving on the day the cruise departs risks missing the ship. If passengers choose to fly in on the cruise departure day and must make their own arrangements to meet the ship at the first port or miss the cruise entirely, Your Travel Society LLC assumes no responsibility for monetary loss. Additionally, we will charge a minimum service fee of $100 and up for assistance if you miss the ship.

Your Travel Society specializes in excellent customer service. We research numerous vendors to ensure we have secured the best pricing on airfare, cruise fares, car rentals, accommodations, and more, based on desired travel dates and availability. This agency does not accept cash payments.

Before making your deposit, please read these Terms and Conditions thoroughly. Once a deposit is made, it signifies your agreement with this document.

PRICE QUOTES: Quotes on any trip components are not confirmed until booked with full names and payment in full. All prices are subject to change without notice and availability. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-changeable, non-transferable, and non-extendable. If you cannot travel and have not purchased travel insurance covering cancellations, you may receive a credit from the airline minus applicable cancellation fees. A minimum $150 change fee applies to any changes after purchase, plus any fare difference. These fees are charged by airlines and do not include Your Travel Society’s fees for changes or cancellations. Certain restrictions apply. Tickets are usually valid for one year from the purchase date. Unless otherwise noted, quotes generally do not include airfare, gratuities, meals, resort fees, incidental items, souvenirs, airport transfers, travel insurance, or airline luggage fees.

DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS: Payment schedules are set by travel suppliers and must be paid by the dates specified. Late payments may result in automatic cancellation and forfeiture of prior payments.

REVISIONS, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS: Policies vary by supplier. Supplier cancellation fees may be up to 100% of the trip cost, and no-shows are non-refundable. Refund policies for unused travel components vary and depend on supplier rules. Insurance premiums, airfare, and some supplier fees are non-refundable. Please inquire about supplier policies before paying your deposit.

REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION: Government-issued photo ID is required for every traveler. Your Travel Society strongly recommends using a passport for all travel. Cruise lines with closed-loop cruises may allow a birth certificate with photo ID, but a valid passport is strongly recommended in case of emergency disembarkation at a foreign port. Passports are required for all international travel and may need to be valid for at least six months beyond your return date. Some countries require visas; it is your responsibility to verify entry requirements at travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/country.html.

Your Travel Society is not responsible for travelers denied entry due to improper travel documents. Non-U.S. citizens must verify travel document requirements with their embassies.

For international travel, your airline ticket name must exactly match your passport. Airlines do not change names on tickets, so booking before obtaining a Passport with a matching name may require purchasing a new ticket at current prices and/or paying cancellation fees.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Your Travel Society encourages electronic document use where possible. Passengers declining travel insurance must complete an insurance declination form. Check travel documents within 24 hours of receipt and notify Your Travel Society immediately of any errors. We are not responsible for change fees if errors are not reported within 24 hours.

Tickets and vouchers are negotiable instruments and must be kept safe. Lost or stolen tickets and vouchers may not be replaceable, or replacement may incur fees.

AIRLINE CONFIRMATIONS, CHECK-IN, SEAT ASSIGNMENTS, MISSED FLIGHTS: Passengers must confirm flights with airlines before departure and print boarding passes within 24 hours for domestic flights and 48–72 hours for international flights. Failure to confirm or use any portion of an airline reservation may result in cancellation of all subsequent flights. Be sure to check airline policies on confirmation, luggage fees, and other requirements prior to booking.

Passengers are responsible for verifying flight times 24–48 hours prior to travel.

Passengers should arrive at airports at least 2 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international flights unless otherwise stated. Late arrivals may lose seats or be denied boarding, with no refund or insurance reimbursement.

Rebookings are subject to airline penalties, fees, and fare differences. Your Travel Society will assist with rebooking at $100 per hour. Seat assignments are subject to change without notice.

COVID WAIVER: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, travel plans may be interrupted or canceled by suppliers, governments, or other third parties beyond Your Travel Society’s control. Supplier policies govern cancellations, rebookings, and refunds, subject to laws in effect. Travel insurance coverage terms apply accordingly. We are not responsible for quarantines at destinations and will charge fees for reservation changes if you require assistance while quarantined or hospitalized. By signing below, you release Your Travel Society from liability for any damages or losses due to such interruptions or cancellations.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY: Prices are believed accurate at the time of advertising and booking but may contain errors or typos from suppliers. Your Travel Society is not responsible for such inaccuracies or errors made by clients booking online. We are not liable for supplier acts, errors, omissions, negligence, or resulting injury, death, property damage, or other losses.

We are not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, illness, or loss of vacation time due to circumstances beyond our control, including mechanical issues, weather, or global events.

Changes to cruise itineraries are at the cruise line’s discretion, may occur without notice, and may include no compensation.

Your Travel Society is not responsible for refusal of passage by airlines or cruise lines for individuals deemed unsuitable to travel. Please review applicable policies.

We are not responsible for denials of boarding or entry due to legal issues such as prior convictions, unpaid child support, or other restrictions.

Your Travel Society shall not be liable for injury, damage, or loss caused by events or conditions beyond our control, including terrorism, labor unrest, mechanical failures, disease, local laws, crime, or abnormal developments.
